Dr. Mohammad Ali Sobhanallahi, chancellor of the Kharazmi University, has appointed Dr. Mahdi Ghaemi Asl as International affairs advisor of the Economics Faculty.

Dr. Mahdi Ghaemi Asl has a PhD (Economics) from FUM. He is Assistant Professor and member of Islamic Economics and Banking Department at Economics Faculty.

New Vice-dean for  Education  Department

President of KHU appointed Dr. Mohammad Sayadi as new vice-dean for education affairs. The president also appreciated Dr. Khakestari, the former vice-dean , for her efforts during the tenure.

Dr. Sayadi is a prospering and active  member of  Energy & Resources Department of Economics Faculty who has published several books and papers in foreign and domestic journals.

New head for Energy & Resources Economics Department

In recent meetings of the department members, Mr. Takroosta  elected as the new head for ERED.

He was head of  Education Department in School of Economic Affairs for few years.

Also in other Departments, Dr. Monjazeb  and Dr. Masoumina were reelected as heads of General

Economics Department, and  Islamic Economics and Banking respectively.

MOU between the faculty and Oil Research Center of Kharazmi University

Following the meeting held this week in the office of ORC  head with the presence of  the faculty dean and dean for research, it is decided that a new research group to be formed in the field of oil economics within few months according to capabilities of the faculty and ORC needs.
